Accountability for Corrective Action - 3 Steps

Anytime performance results fall short of plan ..... 2 consecutive months or 1 month by a significant amount ..... take the following 3 steps:

  1. Meet with the individual accountable for results and ask the reason for the variance.
  2. During the meeting, determine plan of corrective action.
  3. If the individual does not buy into the corrective action plan, make it clear they are on their own, and have one month to make the required changes.
